Join us on Saturday February 22nd as Dave’s Divers hosts our 5th Annual Koontz Lake Polar Plunge!

For those of you who joined us for the Chicago Polar Plunge each of the last three years you know what an incredible event it has been. Together we raised close to $50,000 to benefit Special Olympics Athletes of Chicago.

2021’s relocating to the ‘other lake’ that Dave loved, was great fun, with the same amazing people, and the same cold water! This year 2025, will bring our supporters even more ways to play a part in our mission to do what Dave did and show that no act of kindness is ever too small. If you haven’t joined us in the past, don’t miss out on this year’s event!

We will start our day with a plunge in Koontz Lake where you can join us as a plunger or a spectator. After the plunge, we hope you will join us as we move the celebration to the ‘Diver’s Tent’ where we will have lunch, entertainment, raffles and Split the Pot.

We hope you will join us on this day to have fun, celebrate Dave’s spirit of kindness and help Dave’s Divers by funding their efforts to support small acts of kindness in the coming year.

This is a ‘bring-your-own’ event so please pack a cooler and Dave’s favorite flannel attire.

Accommodations

If you would like to spend the night at Koontz Lake, we have reserved a block of rooms at Swan Lake Resort. It is located just 5 minutes away at 5203 Plymouth LaPorte Trail, Plymouth, Indiana. Rate is $129.00 per night, rooms will be held at that rate until January 23rd. (Best to make a reservation if you think you may need accommodations, you can always cancel 2 days prior if your plan changes).
